Each
year we turn the clocks back one hour to return to Central Standard
Time from Central Daylight . When we "Fall back" it
is a little more pleasent than when we "Spring ahead"
because in the Fall we gain an hour of sleep making up for the
time we lost when we moved the clocks ahead in the Spring. Have
you ever stopped to consider that in many respects our society
and our present day 24/7 life-styles may well be causing us to"spring
ahead in the aging process" causing us to lose far more than
just an hour of sleep!
If this is true, when do we get to "fall back in the
aging process" and reverse some of the pre-mature aging our
life-styles are likely causing? For thousands of years those practicing
yoga have known the importance of awareness, balance, flexibility,
strength, equanimity. Practicing yoga regularly has the potential
to increase our awareness thereby allowing us to minimize the
choices that lead to imbalances and premature aging effectively
allowing us to "fall-back" in the premature aging process
much like returning our clocks to normal time in the fall. Instead
of simply gaining an hour of sleep we may gain many wonderful
moments and improve our well-being and quality of life in many
different ways.
The four-week program allows you to increase your awareness,
form intentions based on the increased awareness and energize
those intentions in a way that may allow you to begin to "fall
back in the aging" process.

- "After
some thought, I am not going to sign up to continue with
this Yoga series. I have a few personal reasons for this;
I am gong to try to do the drop in on the Tuesday night
classes when I am available. I have very much enjoyed the
experience, and it feels great to be doing Yoga again. Thank
you very much for your support and energy!"
"It
took thinking outside of the box" for me to participate
in the "Stop Aging Prematurely"
itensive yoga classes. My exercise routine at home was firmly
established. However, sometimes changing routines can be
beneficial as this class has demonstrated, Practicing intensive
yoga more than once each week is increasing my strength
and flexibility. The task and food
journaling keeps me constantly aware of my lifestyle and
any changes may lead to a more healthy and balanced life.
One of my goals for this class was to lose a few pounds
that had crept on recently. Just being more aware of what
I am consuming has already paid off in now reaching my goal
weight. The lost pounds contribute to greater flexibility
as I desired. So this class is a win-win way to begin the
morning."
